The crow: Enigma, messenger, muse. The crow appears throughout history in the arts in many different forms with many different meanings. But did you know you can befriend a crow? You can make offerings to them, and with some patience and a regular routine, you can establish a friendship with the mysterious bird. The members of CAW (Cartersville Area Writers) continue to embrace the crow as a muse. Volume 2 of our anthology shows the multifaceted ways in which our members are inspired and express themselves. So please enjoy these offerings for this year, and you may make some new book friends you didn’t have before.

The Crow Speaks, Volume 2 includes the first publication of the Coward. This short story, set after Winds Bright and Bitter and before Waters Cold and Dim, provides a snapshot of the Second Battle of Hypanar.
